Hotel Payout Request FAQ

How long does it take to get my payout?

We process all requests the next business day after the 19th of each month. Processing can take up to 5 business days.

  • Gift Cards: Sent once your request is processed.
  • Checks: Mailed through Canada Post. Usually arrives in 1–3 weeks in a plain white envelope.
  • Bank Transfers (ACH): Takes 2–4 business days to show in your account (weekends and U.S. bank holidays don’t count).

What’s the minimum payout I can request?

The minimum payout is $50.

What’s the maximum payout per month?

You can receive up to $500 per month in total.

Can I make more than one request?

For Gift Cards you can split your payout into several requests, as long as each one is at least $50.

What if I typed the wrong email for a gift card?

  • Email us immediately at concierge@metaguest.ai to cancel the request so that you can resubmit the request with the correct email.
  • If the gift card was issued and hasn’t been claimed yet, email us at concierge@metaguest.ai within 2 business days after the gift card was issued.

When’s the deadline to request a payout?

Submit your request by 5:00 p.m. EST on the 19th of the month.

What happens if I miss the deadline?

Your request will roll over and be processed in the next month.

Can I cancel a gift card request?

No. Once you select and view your gift card code, it cannot be cancelled.

Do I need to fill out tax forms?

  • U.S. customers: If your rewards total $600+ in a year, you will need to submit a W-9. A 1099-MISC will be sent to you for your taxes.
    • — If rewards that are paid directly to yourself or directly to any of your staff members total $600+ in a year, you will need to submit a W-9.

    • — If you pay yourself direct payments through Gift Cards, Checks & ACH to pay for Meals, Company Outings, Gifts, etc, for your staff, please keep your receipts for your accountant for when you do your taxes to show how these funds were spent.
  • Payment by Gift Cards, Checks and ACH count toward the $600 yearly total.
